She also has a two year old daughter. This all wood toy arrived in pieces and I was initially annoyed that I had to build it. It went together quickly and intuitively and had great instructions. Once assembled the toy was structurally very strong. My six year old grand son played (hard) with it and zoomed it around the room. Not a dent or scratch. I would strongly recommend this toy to anyone who is tired of the crappy plastic toys on the market. This one is a winner... apparently for several ages.
